We have had a few days in our new van at last and are finding that it is very draughty around the doors (we have closed them ) :) We were thinking about putting curtains up over the doors, but were wondering what is the best way of going about it - how thick are the walls? We don't want to do any damage by putting holes in the walls....

I guess you would have to find the wood crossmembers to hold a heavy curtain pole up.
You should be able to tap on the walss to identify more solid areas.
What about the window frame, does this have enough to fix the curtains to?
Its amazing how heavy lined curtains block out the cold.

you will find timber going across the top of the door, your wall will only be around 35mm thick so dont use a long screw.
so of my customers have fitted them to the new upvc door frame

sorry to ask this but if its d`glazed being new as you said do you "lift" the door lever up to lock the door against the seals?,my wife and son are constantly leaving ours "off" latch as it were, this leaves the door slightly ajar and windy.if not ask caravanwindow man more indepth questions and i`am sure he could help...
