Hello my name is Ian and I run a small business called Caraconnect based in Colchester, Essex, and we are specialist suppliers to the caravan industry serving both the park operator as well as the private caravan owner.
We carryout many internal and external repairs, including floor repairs, roof re-sealing, full electrical rewires, problem finding and solving, as well as new electrical fittings and appliances, with certificates issued.
Our first and foremost trade is the on site connection of all static caravans to current industry and manufacturers standards, including the levelling of the caravan, and then the connection of the waste water, electrical connection and testing, supply and fit of television aerial, and the anchoring of the caravan.
Our 4 main trades are Gas, CORGI regisitration No. 232289, Plumbing, Carpentry, and Electrical with fully qualified, and fully insured engineers, working in each trade.
We are currently in the process of building up our mail order parts side of the business, which will hopefully see us compete with competitors not only on the pricing of our engineers work but ultimately with other suppliers of spares.

CORGI (Registration No. 232289) as LPG Caravan specialist engineers. This will enable us to add the final piece of connecting your caravan holiday home, without you having to find another contractor. This will also enable us to carryout the following works;

Gas safety inspections
Carryout many gas related repairs
Installation and commissioning of new Caravans
Installation of Auto changeover valves and pipework

New for 2008 we are pleased to introduce our frozen pipe solution which allows you to use your caravan all year round without having to pay for drain down costs and stops the pipes freezing.
