Hi all, we've just sold our tourer so that we could buy a static. We've got a Willerby Granada (2 bed) that we've just spent our first weekend in and it was brilliant. Just can't wait for next summer now. Seeing as we're pretty much novices at the minute I'm sure it won't be long before we're asking lots of questions

Hi Darren, it's a site near Knaresborough. We actually started off there in our tourer and it was all the statics that were surrounding us that got us hankering after one lol
Hi Diane,
Welcome to the forum.
I’m glad to hear you have a 2 bed Willerby Granada as that’s the make of our private caravan.
Hope you enjoy chatting here, as you can see it’s really lively!! lol

Up near Mother Shiptons Cave, I havn't spent too much time up that way.
I hope you didn't try to take the static home with you at the end of your visit ;)

Thanks for the welcome. We love the van, we did nearly end up with another smaller one but viewed this and thought this is the one, think the bedroom sold it for my hubby cause he was first in there and all I could I hear was oohhhh ooooohhhh ohhh ahhhhhh lol. No Darren there was no attempt to tow it home lol, was so nice though not having to pack up like you have to with a tourer. Luckily the site is open till just after the new year so guess where we'll be for Xmas :)
Hi Diane,
That’s one of the reasons why we bought our Willerby because it has a 12ft wide bedroom, the full width of the caravan.
I’m pretty envious that your site is open until just after the new year as ours is now closed until March, although Haven is open until the end of this month for owners.

Oh I couldn't wait till March before going to the van again, that's part of the reason we picked the site as it is only shut for a month which I can just about cope with lol

I am told that the Haven site I am on is open until Jan!! End of this month is the first half term for schools so I dont think any Havens will be closing for that!
