Do you mean what static would you buy if money was no object or do you mean absolutely anything, i.e. house, car, etc.?:p

A Pemberton Verona or a Cosalt Studio 2, but they don't make the Verona anymore and Cosalt have gone bust. But if money was no object maybe someone would make one for me.

For anyone contemplating spending 50k+ I would not buy a Willerby Vogue. In my opinion they are not made any better than others in the Willerby range. To me the key to a good van is not what's in it but how it's put together. Taking this in to account you will get a far superior buy by going for a Pemberton, maybe something like The Knightsbridge. Built like tanks and built to last.

It is very nice, I agree. They'd have to do something with that colour in the kitchen though. Picky, picky.

Hi, can you tell what site sells this van at 50K when a Vogue costs 80K on most sites, when trade price is 64K

There is not a chance in this next 100 eon's I'd pay 80K for a static caravan to be placed on a site.

Wonderful! But who on earth would pick that kitchen colour as a selling point? But is it a log cabin? Size is enormous as well - but is this straying away from a static caravan, and into the area of "as close to a house as you can get"? And is that really the point of owning a static? Another few grand and there are apartments available which give you this interior.

I have heard this about the Vogue too - although if someone was to give me one then I wouldn't say no!
The Pemberton would do me - perhaps you can have a different coloured kitchen put in?:D

I didn't say 50k, I said 50k+. I don't know where your 64k figure is coming from either, the retail price for a 2 bed Vogue is £53,574 + Transport.

Oh didn`t realise you were talking retail van only, then its 54K for vogue and 64K for pem (as advertised on there site) still a lot of difference for the price. Are you by any chance a dealer?

Up until 6 or 7 years ago ABI's were avoided like the plague but since they have been taken over I think they have one of the best ranges out there. I would certainly stand up a Westwood to a Vogue, if I remember rightly it has a similar internal layout.
If i'm honest, apart from Pemberton, most caravans are much of a muchness build wise, it's the aftersales which is important, and on that score none of them, including Pemberton, are up to scratch.

That is nothing more than a rip-off, and gives the rest of us a bad reputation. No wonder there are so many bad stories about parks in the UK fleecing people.

Well the times are-a-changin' as far as I can see. The bigger parks are going to be hit now we are entering hard times and unless they adjust their pricing policy they won't be selling anything like the amount they are used to. And about time too IMO.

Wish we had held off buying our van then:p
I agree with you - we have had a nosey around some of the big company parks in our area and it is scarey how many free pitches these sites have - probably why they are offering free tow ons ........

That's exactly why they are offering free tow-ons! If they can't get the sale the next best thing is getting an extortionate pitch fee and another drinker for their clubhouse. They also get a potential future upgrader they can pester. They are not daft but more and more people are wising up to them.

Our site hasn't got as many free pitches as some of the other companies, but what I have noticed is that if people are buying, they are buying the cheaper, much older caravans. Think they are having trouble shifting the expensive ones....... Having said that, I think there are more free pitches than meets the eye because often vans are on pitches but not marked they are for sale, but we know that they are!:D We have also noticed an increased number of their fleet rental vans filling up spare pitches!
Anyway sorry for going off topic peeps!

Our site is probably one of the few larger sites that have a waiting list, and quite a bit of upgrading during the shut down, it will be interesting to see how the 4 new lodge style vans sell at £120K.
