Hi,

On the advise of TiaMaria and AngelaB, I have added a post here to introduce myself.

My name is Kate and I will have the pleasure of using my grandmother-in-laws caravan this season. It was purchased last Oct at the end of the season so we haven't had a chance to use it yet - but as you can imagine we are all counting down the days until 1 March when the electricity goes back on..!!

I have no idea what make it is, I know its old, but in very good nick, and the great grandaughters will have the best time down there.

The van in on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, a small private site - but we have family already there and we can certainly entertain ourselves with BBQ's etc.

This site/forum has already proved invaluable with the 'draining down' advise, and I love hearing how excited everyone else gets about going to their home from home !!

18 sleeps and counting.!:)

Thanks all for the lovely welcome..! I am sure I will bombard with questions once we get into full caravan season..!

My grandmother-in-law used to have a caravan at All Hallows on Sea so knows the ropes, but lots have changed since she had one, so there is some catching up to do.!

We think we have all the essentials, kettle being number one.!!! I suspect in the summer it will be a free for all and everyone will visit, but that's exactly why she bought it....to spend time with the family x

Weight loss is not just restricted to humans, not only are we both on diets but one of our cockers is on a diet and he really doesn`t know y, 2 weeks ago he was 17.5 k and after being restricted to light food and less of it he was weighed last night and still 17.5k what do we tell him?
