Hi,
I am new to caravan ownership and recently we had a look araound Talacre Beach site, North Wales. Wonder if any-one on here has any comments about this park? The site itself looked wonderful, but the site fees seemed a bit pricey (£4000+) although I don't know how this compares to others price and facility wise. Any guidance/comments much appreciated.
Thanks
Jules

Hi Julie and welcome to the forum,

Unfortunalty I don't know anything about that site, it isn't one I have had dealings with.

Hopefully some members on here who no the park or the area will be able to help more.

Thanks Darren, I know they probably vary tremendously? but can any-one give an idea what their site fees are and what facilities they have. Is £4000+ a year at the high end of the scale?

Thanks again
Jules

£4000 is at the top end overall but about average for the big operators (haven etc) sites.

We've paid anywhere from £1000 a year for a site with beutiful views and a great service from the owners but not too much in terms of ammenities to about the same as you a Dolphin.

Dolphin has quite a lot on park but is at the top of cliffs so no beach.

Hi Sarah, thanks for your message. You seem to have got a real bargain with your caravan!!! We loved the site itself and the facilities, although as both times we've visited it's been out of season, so there haven't been many people around to get a true idea of what it's like. Like you said though the beach is on the doorstep and is lovely, our dog loves it too!!

The site fees are expensive but the site itself is ment to be a more exclusive site. It is very nice & you are unlikely to have any trouble with neighbouring vans or their customers as they tend to charge more for their lettings. We actually live down the road and clean on a number of the local camps Talacre Beach does seem to be a premier site. There is an other option if you like the look of talacre without the pricey site fees, just down the road is point of air site which is a very nice place and not as costly.

Hope this helps
