Can anybody tell me if it is possible to get a central heating system fitted to a static caravan? If so any idea of cost and availabilty/suppliers/installers?

Hi there,
Yes it is possible to fit a central heating system into a caravan but this can depend on age, space and what is possible for your particular caravan. The costs is usually somewhere around the £3000 mark but can vary depending on number of radiators and length of time to fit due to difficulty. You need to contact a CORGI registed LPG caravan speciialist gas engineer who will be able to tell you what is available, what is possible and the costings involved.
We are ourselves CORGI regisited and depending on where you are in the country we may well be able to offer you a quote or some help and advice if need be.
All the best Ian.

that sounds like a good price,i paid out £800 for a full combi and rads/valves/pipewok for a 3 bed semi and installed myself...yes you do need a corgi chap to test/cert (he even asked for number of my supplier `cos he couldn`t get it cheaper locally at trade):)

Well after all my goings on about price of vans etc, I've just bought a Carnaby Freestyle 2003 at a park near Hexham.
The last owners fitted double glazing - thank you to them.
I was wondering if you can retro fit panel heating?
Thoughts anyone. Otherwise it's the old oiled filled radiator.

These are excellent. Just get a qualified electrician to fit them.
