Hello ! I have just joined this website and myself and hubbie are going to be the the proud owners of a 4 year old static caravan from next week. We are not new to caravanning but are first time owners. Open to any advice, helpful hints etc. Not even bought any bits for making it 'ours' yet.

Hi Bee,

Welcome to the forum, I'm sure plenty will be along to give you advice on what to buy etc, adding things to a caravan to make it fit your personallity is all part of the fun.

Happy posting,

Darren

PS, I've moved the thread to the intros board

Hi bee welcome to this brilliant forum!
Have a wander around the forum there's a wealth of information all you need to know is somewhere around!
If you think of anything just ask, if none of us know the answer there's always someone who suggests a link or something to help out ... ;)

Hi a big welcome from me too.

We bought our van at end Feb 11, and i am still buying for it, i enjoy spending on van more than my home now!!!!!! It is so very exciting, and its nice to be able to share that with others who feel the same.

We still feel excited that we OWN A CARAVAN:D:D

I look forward to hearing all about your experiences.

Going back to caravan site tomorrow to pay the balance on our purchase. Could have posted the cheque but good excuse to look around the van again. Thanks to reading all your posts we also have a list of questions to ask or things to check in the van.

Thanks everyone

Welcome Bee.

We pay the balance and get our keys on Saturday and are very exicted, I have to say I have done a lot of shopping this week since picking the van and plot at the weekend.

Happy Shopping :)
