Hi, lately the floors of our Willerby Freestyle have started to creak quite badly. There was always some creaking, but recently this has become annoying. We have been on the same pitch for over a year, so it can't be settling! However we have had central heating fitted, could this be the cause? And PLEASE is there a relatively cheap and easy cure?
Many thanks.

Hi there hope you had a good xmas. Creaking floors is not unusal and can often vary thoughout the year due to rises and falls in temperture and leading to expansion and contracion of the caravan. Although I donot know your particular model, the Freestyle, I have come across this in various makes and models. To rectify this is usually quite simple and involves small wooden wedges being inserted underneath between the floor and chassis along the join of the creaking floor boards. If your caravan is still under warrenty it might be worth giving Willerby a ring and asking them about this and they maywell do it for you. If not it is possible to do yourself.
If you have any questions or would like us to visit please call me on 01206860746 or 07817730981.
Hope this is of some help.
