I tried the wifi when we were there at the weekend and not sure if the connection will be stable enough so hoping my dongle will work the same as it does at home, so we can spend more time at caravan then :)

aww, our toddler really into dogs or "wuff" at the moment.

Re wifi, it is very hit and miss, sometimes you can't even get a connection, mostly at weekends I would say when there will be more people using it. Other times it's fine and a decent speed. It will be great working from there, very jealous :)

Thanks everyone, I have a 3 dongle but if thats not great will get an orange one as my orange phone signal is great there. Thinking positive whilst packing today I have packed clothes to last for 2 weeks !! If signal is not workable I will be staying there till Monday night.

What a day the dining room is full of things we need to take, I am glad its not too far so we can do 2 trips tomorrow (3/4 hour away).

I even remembered to get cash out of the bank for the sweet shop.

Dont know how I will sleep tonight....

if your 3 dongle isn't good enough then get the 3 mifi, we've got that for the caravan and it's twice as fast as the dongle. also you can run upto 4 different things with it,either laptops, phones, ipods etc. we love it. check it out on the 3 website

This is the same mifi I spoke about a few weeks ago, anyone considering one night like to look in maplins where they are reduced!

They did ;) but we did not get chance to have any.

It's gone really well first night was unbelievably cold so yesterday bought an electric over blanket and 2 convector heaters the difference is amazing. Hoping to go for a swim today after yet more shopping :)

Don't worry, we had yours, we went back for seconds:D

I remember our first night here when the site had opened for the season in March, we were totally unprepared for how cold it would be. We ended up sleeping fully clothed with our fleeces on, hubby even had his hood up!! I remember my nose being sooo cold. We invested in electric blanket quite quickly after that and heaters for the room. Have read that the oil filled radiators are pretty good.

Is your van double glazed? a few people have said it does make a difference, we might consider it in the future.
