Double glazing.

Hi All,
Has anyone here had double glazing fitted to their van? I've spent hours searching the net and I'm finding it impossible to get an idea of how much it might cost without actually getting someone round to measure up.
All I want at the moment is a ball park figure.
Anyone had any experience?

Hi

We found a number for double glazing in a shop in Skegness.

We phoned the guy up and he came and gave uaus a quote.

We have an ABI Arizonia. It has two doors and approx 11 windows he quoted us £1,800.

We had our van double glazed this week by darren (caravanwindowman).
Darren & James were brilliant. Both of them were friendly & helpfull, and did a very good job. I was a little worried that the the windows wouldn't look as good as the originals but they look better. We've only had one night in the van since they were fitted, but first impressions are that van is keeping its heat in a lot better and you dont feel the cold draught that you did with the original windows. I would have no hesitation in recommending Darren to anyone considering new windows. :)

if your a bit off a DIYer why not do it yourself? you won`t find an easier job to do as its all timber fix aslong as you get odd led frames there should not be a problem. and it will works out a lot cheaper. just fitted A rated windows in my van!

windowman- not many sites let you do this sort of work to your own vans, due to health and safety and insurance, but if anyone wishing to self fit we do supply only.
