Hi all, we have been "tourer" people up to now,but have now decided to settle down with a static. We are about to purchase an Atlas Orlando which we have viewed and are happy with, been round with a damp meter etc all ok.
Unfortunately the very nice lady who is selling it does not know exactly what year the van is.
Now,on the advice of Atlas , I have found a serial number consisting of several letters and a series of numbers , the last two digits being "98" , it has been mentioned to me that this might indicate the year of build (ie 1998). Is there anyone on here that can confirm that this is so ?.
I may have to go back to Atlas if not, they were very helpful I have to say.
Any ideas anywhere??.:).
Cheers Mike R.

you should have near your boiler(normally stuck on the door or wall of your boiler cupboard) a copy of the original gas connection and testing certificate. this will have the date on it that it was first connected. (hope i am correct, it has certainly been the case with each of the vans i have had but this may just apply to the sites i have been on) certainly worth looking. good luck!

The Orlando is listed as a 1997 model.
