Hello everyone
Just joined after coming across the forum.
Chris & myself have a cosalt eclipse caravan located at Golden Sands Mablethorpe Lincs.
When not enjoying the sea air we are normally found cruising the canals onboard our narrowboat "Silkwood" based at Stockton top marina.
We are 1/12th owners of Silkwood & enjoy the peace & quiet of the canal life cruising at 4mph max.

When I was made homeless a few years back (long story) I made the suggestion to my family to buy a narrow boat, its always been something I would love to own. The family didn't go for it :rolleyes:

This year I am taking my holiday on the Norfolk Broads which is about as near as I will get:D

my cousin used to live on a narrow boat morred at thorn near doncaster and i was envious,never did get to stay are they cold inside?

Centrally heated & a log/coal burner. I'm usually in my shorts/t-shirt in the depths of winter!!
