Hi

I have a 2002 Atlas Mirage Super sited in Cornwall, which I use pretty much only for sub-letting.

This is my second season, and so far, so good, with the exception of a park problem that I've posted about in another section of the website .

I used to live in a static and have always lived in places that people use for holidays. I love caravans :p.

Not sure if I'd ever buy one again to sub-let, but I don't regret having this one, it's been a good experience. Some of my 'customers' are lovely people who keep coming back :).

So, that's me really, middle aged mum running my caravan as an interest and a sort of business, although I am very aware that with depreciation factored in I will only break even at the end of my letting licence :o. That's caravan life I suppose!.

Hi Zelda, welcome to the forum. I would have loved a caravan in Cornwall or Devon, my favourite parts of the country, but it is just too far to travel often enough to make full use of a caravan down there. The constant traffic jams going by Birmingham would make it just to much of a hassle for us. I envy you yours. :)

Hi you two.

Pauline we are lucky to live down here (I was brought up in Cornwall) - but there are many lovely parts of the U.K and I totally know what you're saying about those traffic jams around Birmingham!.

Hi Zelda

A big welcome from one Cornwall fan to another!

I am sure I visited your site a few months ago (just being nosey!) as we had been to Fowey for the day and saw a sign for Par and decided to have a recce.

Is it the one with the lake?

Hi Zelda

I thought your site was lovely and so close to the beach which is such a bonus. It was lovely and quiet when we drove around.

Hi Scotty. Yes the beach is an excellent bonus, and it's dog-friendly, so most visitors are doggy people.
