Hi Keira,
Our rental caravan on the Haven Holiday Park at Caister-on-Sea opens on 1st March and our private one opens a little later in the month depending on the weather so now Xmas is out the way for another year we’re looking forward to the 2009 caravan season and trying out our new television!!
Hope you have an enjoyable season.

Hi Keira
We hope to open up early March & not have to endure cold icy weather!!
Look forward to the better weather & lighter evenings.

Tis will be the first time we have done this and are looking forward to the season ahead. We have just bought new television and stuff but the site we are on only has 6 channels..........no signal and the only cable is run by the site. But its enough I guess. I just hope its not freezing in the Lakes!!! Thanks Andy for your best wishes and I hope everyone enjoys the coming year.

hi kerria,
best tip ever for tv`s...buy a cheap sat dish and skyplus box off ebay(cheap),put on your new van,put your card from home in slot and turn on,tune in dish by on screen display on sky menu signal strength(turn dish to best signal).you now have digital clear tv whilst everyone else struggles.....ow kick kids off children`s channel so you can watch loose women.wine optional!

ps kerria,
if you don`t already have sky goto currys and take sky on trial £49 for 3 months then cancel,if your lucky they give you another month free, you then have digital freeview with more channels than normal(freeview + free to view sat)to install at your leisure...hope this helps.....

Hi, I didn't think using your card from home would work? When me and OH both had our own houses and both had sky, we tried swapping the cards and got a message something like that the card and the box didn't match. It was a few years ago, so may have changed?

The site we are on has soooo many rules and stuff. They won't let you have sky dishes!!! So no go with that, I can only get phone signal if I stand and wave my phone in the right place. We are near Grizdale forest and any signal is poor. But thanks for all the advice.
