Hi all,

before you newbies rush out and buy a new/second van you should try and spend at least one weekend in one....

they resonate like a big drum! especially if the kids bang on the floor or run up and down.

also, the temperature in a van varys very quickly due to a lesser thermal effiency than your house (thinner walls/less if any insulation)

they can seem a bit small at first.....not as much storage/wardrobe space etc.

never buy on your first visit or get caught out with the sales pitch of "put a deposit down today"etc etc..............it will be there tommorow...

always barter for decking (site fees/insurance/install/inventory you pay for anyway)plus tv,gas botle/install/tv aerial/steps...

try for satellite dish/music system/decking/extra site fees/washer/32"lcd!!!!!!!!!!! i have known someone get all the above and a prime site....

always, always, always get it in writing,if they won`t do it then they are bulling, just walk away(thousands of vans to choose from)

everytime you upgrade it will cost you at least £10,000
do your homework first and good luck!
