Hi, we are fairly new to this, and own a 2005 caravan, that we are GL through Haven this year, but after the GL is over would like to do some work on the caravan as it should be cheaper than upgrading!

Does anyone know where you get new beds from and kitchens etc, or do you just use standard units?

The fitting side i'm ok with, just need to know where to go for the units.

Thanks

Neil

we just gave?/lent two new beds to a friend and we may be taking another two out shortly, both brand new(including mattress.........say hello at the next doo or see us on rb13.

as for units the ones in the vans are slimline types but if you re-design i carnt see why you cannot use normal units(unless its the size issue).....check out b@q or latest screw fix cat` for ideas ....

Thanks, but PV should be doing a clean for me, as they owe it me from when i purchaed the van.

Saying that when i go over on 1st i can imagine it not being done.
How do you find them when you request things to be done?

Hi Neil,
When we have upgraded the interiors for customers we find it is best to use either B&Q or Magnet trade, they can come wider then what you may already have but the base units do allow themselves to be cut down as there is a gap of about 3-4" behind the back board that can be removed and our chippy does this very well with a circular saw, and of cause the work tops can also be cut to size both in length and width. As for sinks and applainces there are many different sizes available on the market so you should find something to suit.
