What do you call low site fees, and what facilities are you after?

South Cliff at Wilsthorpe under £2k and I think Greenacres at Flamborough was pretty cheap when we were looking 18 months ago.

Lots of vans for sale on South Cliff, mainly private.

I am at Easington, through Hull and near Spurn point.

Our site fees are £1650 for a 10ft wide van, this allows you a set of steps and a veranda or, £1950 for a 12ft wide van this gives a full length veranda.

Water is free, gas is £52 for a 47.2 KG gas bottle IIRC, electric is 12p a unit IIRC.

There is a indoor pool on site, closed for refurb until May, clubhouse with seperate section for kids with their 'own' bar for soft drinks, small play area for kids and the beach with own access.

No sublet but no age limit on vans, after 15 years you cannot re-sell your van to the site but you can keep it aslong as you want-just aslong it is kept upto and passes the gas/electrical tests etc.

Thanks a million to everyone who has replied. It has been very interesting comparing the variation in site fees. I am sorry I have not been back sooner but we have been trying to decide what to do about the caravan ie whether to re-site it (and all your information has been great) or sell to a dealer. Due to difficulties with the site it is on at present and due to our own financial difficulties we are having to resort to selling to a dealer. Thanks again.
