preparing and levelling ground

when we get round to getting our caravan, first we have to get ground level, is there anyone or company that anyone knows of that we can get to come do this. its not been put on a site its on private land, we are in w/yorkshire area.

Hi joanne, there's a post on here (somewhere) from a member who sited their caravan on private land... I'll try to find it for you... There's loads of detailed photo's too by the same member... I'm on a mission lol ...watch this space... ;):)

You need to be looking for Groundwork Contractors in West Yorkshire, try googling, it's what I always do.

How big is the area you need to level?. If its just the size of a concrete base and there's not too much spoil up top then you could easily do this by hand with with spades and a barrow. If the area is bigger then hire someone with a mini digger. Should be no more than a days work@around £400 with an operator.
