Wall paper

Can you wall paper the walls in caravan or do you have to get new boards as someone has started to make a hole in one of the bedrooms. This is what happens when you let out. Othe people dont respect what you have to pay for the caravans.:mad:

I guess one of the caravan repair guys who frequent this site will know more, but why not put a picture up to cover it?? depends of course where hole is :(

you can paper the walls but use border paste instead of wallpaper paste as you are papering over paper board

If its a blown vinyl type covering why not carefully fill the hole and paint the room with a nice shade of vinyl silk emulsion :)

Hi there Darren is right use a border paste and normal wall paper, however depending on the age you could contact the manufactuers to see if you can still get the correct paper, I know Willerbys were able to do this for a customer last year who had an Aspen and they received a roll in return and made a good job of pasting that onto the original.
If you have no luck then yes it will be acase of replacing the board, though you may find you are covered in your insurance if you cover for this type of damage and you will be able to get it done by a repairer and just pay your excess.

Thanks for the comment. Have been in touch with the park and they said that they can do it for me. Didnt say the cost though.:eek:

After asking since August for the wallpaper to be done:mad: and the park said they would do it yet again and finally got it put on the computer as a job to be done. With no joy after 3 weeks.

I cancelled it and did it myself:D

Looks great half way up with a boarder round. Only cost me £30:D
