Hi Susan,
Unfortunatly like I said above, the way that the large companies like BL work there is always a high premium.
just emailed him he says he dont do it anymore ? What email address did you use, I actually handle the online stuff like emails for him as he is based on park and dosnt have daily access to his emails.
He has just sold one on the cubrian coast on a beutiful park in a small villiage called st bees, the site fees are only £1000 a year, I hope you can find one like that in the mablethorpe area

hi Susan,
I have now got about fifteen vans for sale on Blue Dolphin, near Scarborough.
The cheapest van is a 98 Atlas Florida 4 bed for £5000 plus site fees etc.
I also have a couple of vans at £7500 plus site fees etc each.
Are these within your price range?
susan
10-05-2008, 09:34 PM
oh darren a sweet man i have now pmed you ok mate xx:D
I am about to relist mine on a prime haven site blackpool, on ebay due to a non paying bidder. I'm sure it will be perfect for you, . it's item no: 110250564090 and I'll accept a bargain £5000, as I can no longer afford the £2000 site fees
susan
13-05-2008, 10:57 AM

am still looking for a van for my boys that will aloow monthly payment /:D
as you all know i have 2 sons that are disabled so money tight i can offer £500 a month for the rite van this will be paid to you till the van is paid off would like van round lincolnshire and yorkshire and blackpool:D
If you buy a van from a Bourne Leisure park or one similar they offer payment by monthly instalments and offer subletting to you when you’re not using it to cover some of the cost incurred. :)
Darren
23-05-2008, 01:33 PM
I'm sure most no this by now, but I would reccomend never letting bourne leisure sublet your van.
The amount of horror stories I have heard is endless and the cut they give you is shockinley low.
It may take a bit more effort but doing the lettings yourself or even using an agent is the way to go.
susan
23-05-2008, 03:15 PM
your mate rang me and he wants £5000 cash:eek:
no thanks
You have a point but a lot of people do let Haven sublet there vans for various reason.
However private subletting is the best but NEVER let Haven cleaners clean your caravan, they do an appalling job as they apparently have to get 3 vans done in 1 hour.
:)
Darren
23-05-2008, 03:46 PM
Some cleaners do a good job, however some open the door spray a bit of air freshner empty the bin and get going again.
I remember I was doing some work for the sales team up at Craig Tara last summer, and I went into this van a women had been in for a week and the whole van was covered in stains and had bits broken every where.
She told me it was like that when she got there.

yep i am still looking for a van:)
Where abouts would you like a van? :D
There are some superb deals here on new and used caravans if you no of a site that has a plot available
http://www.gtyarmouthcaravans.co.uk/
unfortunatly I have just sold mine
Sorry to hear that. Why did you sell it? If thats not being to nosy!
Same as alot of people will probably be finding at the moment, moneys just abit to tight at the moment
True I guess, especially with the high cost of fuel at the moment.

Hi,
R u still looking to buy a static caravan, I have one for sale in Saltfleet, Lincs.
Are you asking £8,495 for your caravan? If so it’s a shame it’s on park resorts really as they can be quite extreme with there ground rent as we found out when we considered buying a caravan at California Cliffs in Norfolk. We opted to stay with Haven as they are more reasonable with regards to ground rent.

Hi,
Just wanted some feedback on why you are not interested after seeing the pictures. It is a good price for the age and condition of the van, as Park Resorts told us that they would be selling the same van for £10,995 if they had it.
Cheers,
susan

If and when i upgrade again i would only use Elton, he doesn't use the hard sell or come out with all the rubbish that some sales people use, and he is an over all nice man (and there's not many sales people you can say that about in skeg any way lol) :p

Susan, we have a lovely little van on a Cumbrian site near Alston. It has no bars, shops or such facilities and only 30ish vans on site. The site fees are £1150 per year March to end of November. If I was to sell it to you the owner might want it off site due to it's age or his cut which is about 15%. You would need a car for transport as the nearest shop is 3 to 4 miles away. However the scenery is unbeatable. Now, due to your family circumstances, I am sure an arrangement could be made, but this van is very cheap (possibly even free). More pictures are available if you can supply your e-mail.
