Well its almost Friday (yay!) and OH gets 2 weeks off for half term school hols beginning tomorrow. Ours are different up here I know down South they aren't off for another 2 weeks yet. We are off to our van as usual this Friday and it will be so nice not to have to come back Sunday evening as we are staying til Tuesday and those extra couple of nights make such a difference. just hope the weather is a bit better than last weekend!!
Then we r off down to visit family and friends in Bournemouth for a week as thats where I'm from only a 12 hour drive  will stay at friends in Glasgow to break it up into 4/8 hours but still hate it, would be nice to fly but the dogs are coming too so not an option and at least having the car down their gives me freedom from the parents lol
Just wondered if anyone else is off to use their van for the hols or had any other exciting plans coming up???

We have had an enquiry about the half term week. They better book quick if they want it! The site is about 10-15 mins down the road so its no biggy to use the sight over half term and go home in the night. I dont drink, (very occasionally) and so dont mind driving. I plan on trying to earn enough next year in bookings, (and possibly the year after) to fund another caravan. We can have one for us and another to pay for both caravans fees etc. Thats the plan eventually for me (stu).

Through our sister website GoCaravanRentals.com (http://www.gocaravanrentals.com/add.php), we have seen quite a lot of booking for half term so I hope that a lot of you are seeing it as well.
I'm heading over to Brid this week so shall be interesting to see how busy the east coast resorts are for this time of year.

Not really worth us booking half term week as other vans on the site only charge around £150 and as its colder up here by the time they have had the heating on all week etc it really wouldn't be worth it, better off using it ourselves. Funny how in the summer when it doesnt cost much to run and you can charge a premium yet when the costs go up in the colder weather you have to charge less!
Miserable day here hopefully it will get better. Although theres something to being stuck in a caravan when its pouring with rain its cosy and a good excuse to sit do nothing and read all day, if we were at home we would be moaning about it  :)
Have a nice weekend everyone :)

We also have a booking , a lad who i know has some work coming up about 20 mins from our caravan so has asked to rent it for the next 4 weeks , so we cant go half term but at least we have some one in "out of season" so to speak so earning a little towards the bills

Well, i booked out the sat- wed and we are going from wed to the sunday.Weather won't be great,so i decided that this would be the best way.
I thought that our park(presthaven sands, north wales) may have had some sort of halloween party for the kids, but it has been cancelled. We should of gone the weekend after,as they are having a big bonfire party!:(
