Im with you there, we have booked a week in gran canaria in middle of feb just before caravan re opens, but cant wait to go and open back up again this year

I hope everyone made sure their van was drained down properly! It's colder this year than the snap we had last Winter and there were hundreds of burst pipes round here!

Got a local plumber in to do ours so if he hasn't done it right and any pipes burst he is insured to replace them

I'll agree with that, i'm still living in mine and although external cold water supply pipes heavily lagged by the morning time I need to run the water for a bit to free it up (only starts as drips!). My central heating is on frost protection and maintains a min temperature of 7 degrees which prevents frost damage to my property and stops the heating pipes freezing up!

I have to vacate my caravan on Monday for 4 weeks :(

Does anyone visit their caravans during closed season i thought about it but i think i would only want to stay if i visited so i dont bother 2 months will pass quickly fingers crossed EL TEL
