:confused:i am wishing to purchase a caravan but have been turned down by blackhorse finance. Are there any caravan finance companies that will lend me the money with a bit of a adverse credit history, i do have a large deposit of 10000 the caravan cost 29000. Does anyone also know if there are any companys which garuntee the finace on the caravan as i was told blackhorse did this but now have been told that they dont. please help im desperate

Hi try your bank. I did and it turned out cheaper than black horse.

If you are buying privately then mspeedy is right, bank is your best bet. If your still getting no luck you may want to think of buying through a park or other company as most have their own finance plans available.

EDIT: you have quite a hefty deposit too as most parks/companys require a minimum of 10% deposit, this will help a lot to get you finance with them

try evergreen finance,they secure on van not your credit rating although the rate you get will be round 6.0%(12% apr bank rate equivalent).bank is better if you can get it,also try internet,independant consumer advice from "martin lewis" moneysavingexpert.com no adverts etc...good luck!

low credit score getting desperate now can any one help i am now purchasing a 2007 delta primero for 15000 have around 5000 to use a deposit need 10000 can afford high repayments tried most of the main lenders

It may be no help but we couldn't get finance so in end put it in my parents name.
