Sounds good........... but I aint happy, ours currently open from feb till end of nov.....just got a letter saying " great news, we have got planning permission to open 11 months of the year, we will now be open from 6th feb through to 6th jan...... you will now never have to miss a school holiday blah blah blah.... then they hit you with, but the cost of the park being open a extra month will need to be put on your site fees:eek: or words to that ilk...... the thing is, it is open 1 extra month, which is december when it is absoloutly baltic, hardly anyone including us will use the park in tha month, yet they want us to pay extra money for it........there as been no consultation with us owners at all to ask if we would like the extra month....... the only people this will benefit from this are the people that live on the site for the 10 months that it is open (they are not supposed to be living on it) and maybe a few who will use it in december......I am absoloutly fuming, how can they do this and have the cheek to charge us as well?? Anyone else experienced anything like this before??? I am seriously going to be looking around to get a move of this site because we are just treat liek walking banks of these people..........

Our site has also just recently changed from 10 months to 12 months of the year opening.

Although it hasn't affected us this year, I will be interested to see if the ground rates shoot up next time

You don't get owt for nowt is the saying :)
TBH our park opens 1st March to 30th November & i wouldn't be bothered if it was 1st April to late October BUT i would like to see a reduced groundrent if it was a shortened season.
Having C/H & D/G the weather doesn't worry us, its just the grass gets rather sodden around park.
