Hi there,
I am looking into the possibility of buying a static caravan or a hut or something to live in most of the year.
As you might have guessed, I'm pretty new to all this.
I've been doing some internet research, and it seems you can buy a static caravan on a site, but you only get a limited tenutre and have to pay fees that can be anything from £1,000 to £3,000 a year.
What I wonder though is are there any alternatives to this. What I would ideally like is a caravan on land that is my own, with access to water and electricity.
Are there any sites out there where you can buy the caravan and with that you buy the right to stay on the site in perpetuity?
Basically, I want to keep my expenses to a minimum after making a capital outlay. So, I am willing to forego club houses, swimming pools and all that stuff (much as I would love to have them) in order to keep the expenses down.
Any hints, tips, advice would be gratefully appreciated. You can email me on shooglemail@googlemail.com
Thanks
Dee
