Hope everyone is enjoying all the lovely weather. Its nice on and off up here lol rented our van out for a few weeks lately and they all seem to have lovely weather! last week was our 1st full week and we got lashing rain and howling gales so not fair!!! Have spend pretty much every weekend and lots of 3/4/5 days breaks but never a whole week and it was great! Back up again next week for another week and can't wait (we rent alternate weeks so we can clean it in between) we just don't seem to get bored of being there!! one more rented week then we have it for 2 weeks for ourselves unless we get a last minute booking which I kinda hope we don't but can't refuse if we do lol insurance renewal is due and Oh will go nuts if I refuse a booking so we shall see ;)
Was nice to spend a full week was good to see what we needed/missed etc def going to get a freezer but will wait til Argos reduces it again! also been making daft things like a tie back for the door curtain in the main living area which was flapping around everywhere but it was too warm to shut the door and I couldn't find one that would do the job so a piece of fabric and some velcro and I now have the perfect thing even surprised myself that it looks ok!
Also moved one of the single beds in the 2nd bedroom my daughter got fed up with having no space to move and every rental seems to just be a couple who don't need the extra room so we have put the 2nd bed upturned under the other one and the mattress on top of our wardrobe, I couldn't see any other way to do it but any suggestions appreciated!! would be tempted to make bunk beds but there is overbed storage which would make it difficult but the idea of a normal size single (shes 16 and moans its too small!) with some kind of storage above or underneath would work if only my Oh was good at DIY but he is def not!!!
Anyway will stop babbling hope you all have a great summer enjoying your vans :D
