We put a deposit on a van the second week of Sept, but are still waiting.....We have bought through Haven, but the van we are buying was part exed the same weekend by owners upgrading. We were told first that they were completing the week before last, and we could be in next weekend...then it was last Thurs and we could be in a fortnight later...but no call from Haven on Thurs...Fri...on Sat rang to find out what was going on, now the people don't complete until next weekend so it's going to be the 18th Oct now before we can get it.
At this rate there will be no season left, and as we were planning on subletting we've lost letting fees, and also as the 2008 site fees were supposedly included in the van price there will be no season left to pay for by the time we get the van!!
I suppose it's not Haven's fault if the people haven't completed there deal as agreed, but if they pull out what will happen? Haven say they have sold their van as far as Haven are concerned, so we will still get it, but if that is the case then why isn't the van in Haven's posession already?
After reading some of the posts on here I am rapidly losing confidence in Haven, am I right to be suspicious or is it just one of those things that happens?? :mad:
