Hi Rob. I think caravanwindowman is the best person to ask. I would echo the advice he gave you in Feb 09.

Once D/G & C/Heating is installed on virtually any caravan it is absolutely fine for renting out in the winter months. You will never completely eliminate draughts no matter how thick the insulation due to the venting regulations for gas appliances.
We used to run a hire fleet of 56, opened for Xmas & New Year. We never once had a complaint from people being cold. You really don't have to spend 20k on upgrading your van. The same effect can be achieved for much less by having D/G & C/H put in to your Westmorland.
Gavin.

hi Gavin
thanks very much for the advice just wish caravan manufacturers would show full insulation spec instead of general term (fully winterised) other than pemberton who do. have emailed Darren for quote on c/h as i have already insulate under van with 110 mil king-span what a job never again nothing underneath van uniform ie bearers all different distance apart would use flexible insulation if i did it again which i doubt i will i think i read one of your threads that i might find out what isulation installed on van from serial number have i got that right?
many thanks rob

Yes, if you have the seial number Willerby aftersales may be able to put you through to someone who could tell you the spec.
Having said that, Willerby aftersales are as much use as a chocolate fireguard in my experience!
