took fixed furniture out of caravan

looking for advice i own a atlas moonstone 2003 have taking out fixed futniture one side is ok put pine cladding on walls but my problem is the other side it has a bay window when i took the seat out there a metal sticking out i am wondering can i remove it and make the wall flat or do i have to leave it so i hope someone can help me please thankyou kate
