Default broken shower mixer

Hi,

we went down to open up our caravan yesterday to find our shower mixer had split even though we drained the caravan down at end of season,

does any one know where we can get a decent replacement at a reasonable price as the ones we have found so far are around £85 mark !

the model that is split is v100 tmv2 with 45mm pipe centres, the replacement does not have to be the same make but have 45mm pipe centres.

many thanks
Chally baby

That's about the price i'm afraid. To stop it happening again take it off on drain down and take it home. It's only 2 nuts.

The problem is there are plastic parts in them and unless you get every bit of water out the frost cracks the plastic. They are made for domestic use, ie houses, where the temp never drops below freezing.
We had hundreds in this area last year, and no doubt hundreds more this year as the weather has been even colder.

Yeah if you don't use a compressor to drain down then you will have to take the v100 out and get the water out as they have non return valves in them.
