Default Stable decking

Apologies if I have already posted this however Iím not partcilquraly technical hence this question but to add more stability to a second hand deck veranda, would it it be easy enough to add extra legs or add more screws into the caravan? Thanks

What is the the decking made from ? , what do you mean by more stable ? , is it wobbly or bouncy , do you mean the deck or the handrails ? I wouldnít screw it to the caravan in any case.

The trouble with second hand decking is that originally it will have been assembled specifically for its original position I.e. to fit the peculiarities of that pitch, slopes ,foundations etc. It seems to me it could be one complicated process to make it fit elsewhere and it may never be quite right . I certainly doubt my own ability to adjust and adapt rather than start from scratch.

Slatter's original post is quite right. Whatever you do, do not screw the decking to the van unless you have no intention of selling it when you have finished with it. It will reduce the price, possibly quite substantially.

Thanks for the posts, the decking is UpvC over timber however it is to stay in pretty much the same place as it was previously; my caravan is going on the pitch where the decking already is, if that makes sense. The decking has less legs on the caravan sides than I had expected. I didn’t like the sound of screwing to the caravan but thought to add some 4x4 posts to bolster the strength, if that makes sense?
