hi all reading all your journey times makes our look journey look to far as we are 3 and half to 4 hours away . and petrol costs would make it an expensive weekend away...maybe thats a very important issue.we must consider..is there anyone that travel's more than 4 hours to get to there retreat caravan ?

to be honest, if i had to travel that far i probably wouldn't go!! when we were looking that was one of the main priorities for us, quite near..

but that is just my opinion and each to their own i say

We are just under an hour from East Lothian to Jedburgh, Scottish Borders. Umpteen Damned Speed Cameras on the A68 mean keeping to 60mph, otherwise we could do it in 45mins. Journey time is important as it means we can go Friday night and return quite late on a Sunday evening especially in the summer.

i hope so x lets get the C. word out of the way, is it just me or is it more and more commercial and fake each year? i dunno, maybe it's me but when i see the xmas trees in the shops in September it puts me right off!!

why cant we take a leaf oput of the continents books, they celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and their shops and nativities all over the place are stunning

We need a area that's not a unemployment blackspot as we still need to work.

Looking at Lincs & Wales, not a lot of work around i'm afraid.
thats because us yorkshire people are tight lol
