Hi TT,

Yep that's the way I do it. Even when we had the tourer we used to take our mulitroom sky box with us and set up using a sky dish on a tripod. Worked every time.

We now have a sky dish mounted to the side of the caravan so no need to remove/unplug every time.

Give them a call and tell them you are thinking of cancelling your sky subscription ask what they can do to make you change your mind. You might get a nice surprise.

Let us know.

We have a few who bring their main box from home and I've fitted these push on F-Connectors which can be a lot less faffing about than screwing on F-Connectors

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-x-Quick...item5adf9159c4
Are they easy to fit??

Hi TT,

You need a good wifi connection to be able to use Sky Go. the problem being is if there are a lot of people using the wifi at the same time it's going to give you problems. The only way to get sky is with a sky dish in this case. You will need a sky dish, a quad LMB, a tripod, a length of twin coax, and four F plugs.

I have 20 meters of twin coax (white) and the four F plugs needed, I also have a brand new sky dish if you are interested pm me.

The only thing you would need to get is a quad LMB and a tripod, and two "D" clamps, all available from ebay.

HTH

Graham

If you get 5 caravans on your side of the road to want sky we'll put in a mini system and share some of the costs. We've done it elsewhere and it works a treat

For best reception yes plus it has to have a direct line of sight to the satellite.
