Agreed.

We can't really give electrical advice for safety reasons, so getting your socket checked should be a priority

we got an halogen oven (halo wave) of jml tv in october but when it arrived the bulb didnt work so i rang customer sevices and they sent us a new bulb but that came smashed so another call and they sent us another, again that came smashed in transit, after 5 atemps a bulb came in one piece but it was the wrong fitting so again i rang customer services who i have to say are very polite and helpfull, anyway in the end they said its easier to send a complete replacement oven to us and we could keep the other one without the bulb. so the replacement came and after a few months i thought id ring customer services to say the bulb has gone again (it hadnt really) and they sent a bulb (not broken and it fits) so now ive got one oven for home and one for the van and both for the price of one. a few frustrating calls in october but now very happy.

Just refreshing this thread

Has anyone cooked anything amazing in your halogen that you'd like to share ready for the new season?

I've added a few pics in my photobucket - why don't you?
