Default I'm back from my caravan

It's never a good thing to leave your caravan but there is one upside, you can get back to posting on GoStatic!

If you have just come back from your caravan and would like to let people know, use this post and this post only. All new thread started will be moved to here.

I do, i'd hit the roof, lol. Seriously, we would have someone out to have a look at things. Then go barmy/barmier.

o dear.... we had similar problem... i think because the rain has got in.. the air inside the van has become really wet.. so hence the mould on the carpet... we even had mushrooms growing inside the caravan on the carpets!! honestly....

once your roof has been sorted.... and you get everything dried out and cleaned up... hopefully it will be ok for you... clean your fridge out with a solution of Milton or similar..... dry it and then leave the door open.....

You're not having much luck Curly but we're all supporting you. I hope you get your van sorted out. Sorry but I haven't had any experience with my van yet so I cant advise you but there are plenty of people on here who can
All the best.

Well it was our first weekend of the season, we were very relieved after all the snow etc that we hadnt suffered any leaks etc, all moisture traps were half full of water so they have done there job, one thing however, the coffee table seems to have delaminated, the pine effect face has come loose, has anyone else had this or know of a way it can be fixed ?? Well after a few hours of been there i felt rotten, high temp etc and coudnt stop sneezing, I have been ill all weekend with a bad head cold or flu and couldnt really enjoy been there I stuck it out though with plenty of lemsips and we came home yesterday afternoon.

Just come back from our first weekend of the new season, only stayed one night but all was well, van very dry and all in order. A little cold but oil fired radiator on timer in lounge and electric blanket made it very snug.
