We have free wifi, and Andy works hard to keep it working ,in spite of let's say abusers of the system.
might be wrong but once BT provide fibre to park and the new development is finished there may be an updating of system....

We have no wifi whatsoever on our site. My mobile provider gives me unlimited data so we tether our laptop to it and the tablet so it costs no more.

We have free wifi in the clubhouse, But elsewhere you need to pay i think its about 7 a day and gets cheaper the longer you have it.

Its no good for downloading films or Netflix, So i bought my own Hub and used an old contract sim that i had, upgraded to a sim only deal of 50 GB for 30 a month, Does all my films and wifi is really fast.

Family have no issues with internet so for me its a bargain

We have free WiFi on our site, and very grateful we are for it. But, as usual, some people misuse and abuse. Over the closed season, there’s been some maintenance done and it’s now one code per van which covers a few devices, in an effort to control the streaming and downloading that goes on, despite being asked not to on numerous occasions!

This is why i don't bother with the sites wifi, You will always have loads of people trying to download and in turn it affects everyone. I love my nights in with a decent film so i have my own setup which is great value for me.

It depends as well if you have a young family who are all WIFI dependant, that will drain down the parks wifi especially during the school holidays.

Same here and love having the use of Netflix etc, but unfortunately no WiFi on our site and can't get a mobile signal either. Had thought about having a landline connected to the van which is available, but heard the speeds on that is possibly even to slow to stream

Spoilt at home with a speed of about 200 Mbps

Must admit now instead of wondering who is abusing the system, the park can now pinpoint it to the plot, and maybe they can encourage them to get a BT line,
Off topic ..Bet it's the same people who think speed limit doesn't apply to them

There is Wi-Fi on our site, but we don't need it as we have unlimited internet on our mobiles so we also just tether. Of course only possible if you have a decent signal (which we usually do)

We are lucky enough to have full access to the internet without restrictions. Eg bandwidth control.
Some sites can and will manage the internet and see who's doing what and when, if someone is download a film, then the admin can restrict the speed, even block the site.
Its not rocket science these days to check on usage via a mac address, which is unique to the user.
If you are lucky enough to have free wifi then that opens up cool gadgets for you static. More to follow.....
I wondered how do you go on if you have Wi Fi on site but it's pay as you go ...And you only pay when you visit the site....What do you have to do if you a Hive heating thermostat that operates from your phone ?...Do you have to negotiate an annual deal ?... Otherwise it will not switch on etc if Wi Fi is not on constantly.. ?...Am I right in thinking this ???
