Default central heating antifreeze

Our Caravan is 2 years old and want to check the antifreeze strength in the system , can anyone tell me how they do it

I am assuming you can drain a sample via a rad vent ?
also when adding antifreeze can it be done by isolating a rad and draining it down then put the antifreeze in , then just circulate by putting the heating on ??

I am wanting to do my own drain down this winter, which i can do but its the antifreeze strength i am unsure of

I just get the gas engineer to do it when he does the boiler service etc. If I tried to do it myself I’d probably make a mess of it and drain the system onto the carpets........

You do not need to drain down your central heating only your water supply boiler ..

If you want an anti freeze check.and top up !

You're best off getting it done professionally....It's put into the central heating system tank under pressure ...So as not to lose pressure on your boiler ....If it blows back when your filling it it distroy carpets etc...And is dangerous.
Plus you've got the guarantee if it goes wrong ?.

I attempt most jobs myself but never gas or electric !!!

You can still do the drain down yourself, if your insurance company allows it, but you have to have a has safety check done every year. So, get the plumber doing that to check your anti freeze at the same time.
