to open 2 windows side by side if using windows 7 just click at the top of the page,hold your mouse button and drag it to the side till your arrow touches the side then your page will automatically shrink to half screen,do the same with your second page but drag to the opposite side.you should now have 2 pages open on one screen.see link below

Brock.This will be a bit like the blind leading the blind but here goes if you click and go into a subject ie General Discussion if you scroll down to the bottom of the listed topics you should see at the bottom left hand side a box which says new thread if you click on that box you will get space firstly to list what you want to call your new thread and below that a box for your text once you are happy with what you have written go to the box that says post and click on it and thats it I hope that helps.
