This post is informative and scary

I always take as many precautions as I see possible when using the net, more so with public WI-FI connections etc, but this firmware malware don't give you hardly a chance of protecting yourself by the sound of things. Think I'll stick with my Blackberry Tablet for now

Nice post, thanks wellfed.

My Sister has an iPad and she has a case that holds the iPad in the top and a keyboard at the bottom, maybe they do something similar for the Samsung.....she got hers from Staples a few years ago tho'.

You can also get those combined bluetooth keyboards & tablet covers from Ebay.

I just bought myself one of these for the caravan. Its not much bigger or heavier than a tablet but has a good little processor, a touch screen, a 500 Gb hard drive, 4Gb of RAM, USB 3 and 2 USB2 ports & even an ethernet port which is unusual for a small device. I need this so I can program the site router & access points. As light as a feather & very robustly made & from a great manufacturer. Very good price too for this unit & comes with laptop bag, optical mouse & 8Gb memory stick for only 199. Also, as its from a big company, its not old stock. Win 8.1 and no bloatware added.

Some great reviews for this small, cheap laptop which persuaded me to buy. Or rather my wife Sue bought it for my Christmas present.

I have a blue tooth kindle keyboard and can then use the telly as a screen with the hdmi lead. Not much different then to a real computer

I don't think I made it clear really, my sister's case has the keyboard already fitted in the bottom half...comes all in one with the case.

Default Google Chrome

I seem to be having few problems posting links using Google Chrome. I always used browser before.
If I post a link in a thread please let me know if it doesn't work and I'll correct it. It's fine to send a pm if you like.
Sometimes I'm out but still check the forum, so can be in a rush lol. I usually check my links
