Default Pemberton Insurance Query

Can anyone tell me if my 2005 Pemberton Sovereign disabled van is built to British standard 3632 for insurance purpose.
Thank you

Hi, one of our site owners may be able to help you, alternatively have you thought of contacting Pemberton directly? You could also look on their website
http://pembertonlh.co.uk/

Hope this helps until someone else has the answer for you

I'll move this to the Insurance section for you and I've edited the title a little for you to draw attention to the people who may help you (hope that's ok with you)

Information requested seems unusual to me. I don't think anyone on here would really know the answer regarding the British standard 3632 on your van. I think Angela is right and the manufacturer would be the best to contact. As your van is for disabled, I would think the insurance company may want to be sure the van has not been modified by anyone other than the manufacturer.

Is it an online insurance quote, if so can't you just telephone the insurance company or just state you don't know?

According to glasses guide the sovereign is a disabled van. As long as you have not modified it you should be ok.

If in doubt use a mainstream caravan insurance company, not someone online.

You might find an NCC (national caravan council) sticker on the outside. They sometimes say 1647 or 3632. Failing that call pemby with the chassis number (it should start PL), they should be able to tell you for defo

I don't think I've ever known an insurance company worry about it I'm the past. Are you buying cover from one of the big names.

Cheers

Andy

As far as modification goes, my insurance company asks for all paperwork /receipts for work carried out , in which case the modifications should be covered

As I did my mods myself apart from the carpet laying I have nothing to offer an insurance company except images, would that be enough?

^I think in these circumstances, you would need to inform your insurance company. I would also make sure your declaration was noted in writing.
