Default Damp and condensation

We have just bought a caravan. Stayed a week so far and loving it. We have to leave on Thursday and want to ask how to prevent damp. Mold and condensation when not used. Also should I close curtains or leave open and pack bedding away in plastic

depends how long it will be before you go back.if you are still planning on using it through nov/dec you shouldn,t have a damp/mold problem.we tend to leave our curtains open.
this time of the year though as well as turning the gas and water off when you leave,do a mini draindown in case there is a sudden really sharp cold spell.

During the winter months we spend two weeks at home then two weeks in the caravan.

We leave the curtains open and have no damp/mould problems.

When we are at the caravan we keep a dehumidifier running to keep condensation at bay.
