Hi and sorry for not contacting those who posted as I normally would.

Basically everybody who posts an advert on GS has the option to have the thread open (for discussion) or closed. That is because some advertisers want people to contact them through there own channels (phone, email etc) rather than on the forum, understandably so.

The post in question was posted whilst I was down at the Olympic Stadium watching the England v New Zealand match so I didn't get the chance to close it before the posts were made. I am waiting to hear back from my contact on which option they prefer.

I was going to pm when I had heard, the posts raised an interesting question so if it is to be left closed (or maybe even to get a better discussion on it) I will move the posts to the main forum.

Sorry for not contacting those once more and thank you for taking the time to ask the question.

Darren

PS, I have moved this question to the right place

Understood

It is clear that some Parks charge a premium on the price of their 'vans and some do not

It is clear that some parks charge a higher figure than others for siting/delivery etc

I ABSOLUTELY DEFEND TO THE HILT the right of parks to charge what they want as long as the client knows what they are paying up front
===
The question is ;- Is there a place on this forum ( maybe as an aid to NEW or POTENTIAL owners) to have a thread highlighting/pointing out these premium site charges- without comment or judgement- to help clarify /explain/ warn of potential losses on re-sales

Just a discussion point

Yup, that's sounds the best place to me. There is absolutely no problem with that discussion taking place.
