Default Microwave

Does it matter what microwave I buy for my static ? Can it just be an ordinary one or specifically for a static ? ( sorry if I sound thick). Thank you

Thank you, that's great. I've been looking at the cheaper ones. That's all I need.

We bought a Logik one on special offer from Currys. Slightly bigger capacity. 20l instead of 17l if you have large plates. Its also 800w instead of 700w like others of about the same price.

Don't buy one where you have to guess the time on the dial! They drive me mad in caravans we rent.
Get one with a digital timer!

I've always gone for the cheap ones at home & they lasted years. Decided to go for a digital one from next & had to take 2 back. The first one went rusty inside after about 5 months & the last one the turntable stopped going round. Took that back yesterday & they gave me a refund. I've just been to Tesco & got a cheap one for 35. Saying that they also had a Hotpoint one which was bigger for the same price but I couldn't pick it up it was so heavy. Will probably get another cheap one for the static when I get the keys.
Thanks for your reply

Not having much luck with microwaves. Come to use the new one tonight, turned the dial to how many minutes to cook. Turned it on & the dial never moved although it was heating & sounded strange. This will be going back tomorrow. Fed up now ☹️

Get yourself a decent microwave.
I have always bought Panasonic, never ever let me down over the years.
In my caravan I have a 950watt, variable power setting with 23 litre capacity, model NNSD261 I bought in sale at 85 ( January)

There is a smaller model NN E281 20 litre, & 800 watt, 55 sale price with 2 year warranty
www.johnlewis.com

They have a clearance sale on.
