I pay 12:50 per month for my mobile phone, apart from calls and texts my deal is 2gb a month, I can check usage on my mobile. We don't want to watch movies etc, but do use the Internet and Facebook etc, so no streaming. All I do is is use the tether function on my mobile with my iPad and any data is part of my 2gb deal. Mrs G has her mobile too so we have more than we personally need.

For another 2 a month I could increase to 4gb, we use tesco mobile which is part of O2 if you need to check the coverage, a friend of mine is dealing with a satellite dish version with several packages that might be of interest

It depends on the park. We work with BT on all developments and we install ducting which they then own. The installation cost for our park is the same as it would be in any domestic dwelling. I think it's not much more than 100.

The system that my son has put together to enhance the Wi-Fi works great, so now I can stream Netflix and Amazon Prime no problem, and I receive it in full HD so I'm sorted for the duration of my stay.

We have a 4g broadband mobile wifi from 3. We get 20gb a month but there are different packages available. My son watches you tube and we were told it would let us stream Netflix from our smart tv.

It gives a really good connection.

Been using EE provided mobile wifi 4g for a couple of years now.
Perfect whilst down van or out and about.....

23.00 monthly (15 GB )

Decent signal most of the time.

Our site has wifi and BT landlines. But our side of the development "isn't suitable" goodness knows why. The people behind us and next to us wanted it that we know of so it would have seemed economically viable

When we go to our caravan, we leave behind all the 3/4G and home broadband stuff we are familiar with, and go back in time.
Our park does have a broadband facility if you walk to the main building, but at and around the caravan, we only have prehistoric phone signal, ( whatever came before 3G, gprs ?? )
And no way we can connect to broadband via all the mifi type gizmos etc.
Changed from EE to O2 to get a slightly better phone signal, but texts are a technological challenge at times. I think it depends on what direction the wind blows across the Lakes !!
I find my frequent internet demand has changed when we are away from home and I appear to be learning to accept outside contact is limited.
Mrs.Rainbow says this is a good thing and I am trying hard to work with her on that.
My cravings get weaker as time goes by and I notice a surge in battery life on all my devices.
Maybe, it is a good thing. We will see 🤓

We bought our van at the end of last season. Our site offers WiFi for a monthly fee and when I enquired about it the sales guy told me it wasn't worth it as the connection is poor. He told me many owners use EE myfi which is either contract or pay as you go so I am thinking of trying it. Not sure if anyone here uses it.

we used EE mifi till the site broadband came on. If you get an unlocked huwai ( that's not spelt right will look it up ) unit you can use either 3 or EE cards. We bought which ever were cheaper. Used it all over the country camping too.

I have a contract with BT mobile. 500mb, 200 mins and unlimited text at 10/month. Benefit of this is I get free access to BTWifi, so to date have never got near my allowance, but am able to use internet all day in my caravan.
