Maggie, have you read through the ref hub?
http://www.gostatic.co.uk/showthread.php?t=4201

There is so much help there, and loads of links at the end about choosing the right layout, choosing to suit your family's needs, all kinds of info.
It's a lot of reading I know, but it may throw up questions you hadn't even thought of... Well, that was the idea lol

Hi All

Coming over to the UK next Wednesday for a week - am I really really sure I want to be in the UK at the moment because the weather sounds appalling but just to get us in the mood we have had a thunderstorm and downpour today and when it rains here it rains. We have a new shopping centre just opened with a huge Primark (supposed to be the biggest store they have in Europe) and went there yesterday and it was chucking halestones at us and flooding!!!!!!! Looking forward to looking round a few sites - bringing walking boots and raingear!!!! At least if nothing works out for us I can bring back a few decent teabags so all will not be lost!!!Maggie

bring a boat maggie,it,s hammering down again.bring a big shopping bag, teabags are on offer everywhere, and maxwell house coffee is half price in morrisons.the moving on/off sites has started so your choice of parks could become wider.

Looking at the forecast Maggie - the weather on some days doesn't look that bad!

I wouldn't worry too much, the weather forecast is usually wrong and you will be far too busy visiting parks and buying stuff that is cheaper over here/or you can't get over there.

Hi Mick1950 - ohhhhhh very good - only coming with Paddyair (pardon me Ryanair) so transport of goods very limited but hopefully will have a bit of spare space for a few things. Maggie

Hi Muppetchops: yes we will hopefully have a bit of spare room in the not very large cases courtesy of Paddyair (mistake again Ryanair) and it will give us a chance to look round sites. Maggie
