Default Removing Fire Surround - Swift Debut

I have a 2005 Swift Debut which I'd like to update internally. I'd like to remove the wooden fire surround, hearth and gas fire and replace with an inset electric fire. My problem is I can't see a way to remove the fire surround or fire. Can't see any screws etc. Anyone any ideas.

BTW I know about the Kw rating and tripping out electrics. I've no intention of using the fire for heat - the central heating is so efficient - just want it as a focal point.

Many thanks

Probably like so many fixtures inside a static they may well have been assembled from the inside with the walls being assembled around them ( and fastened to them ). So all fastenings are possible inside walls.

Definitely get a gas safe engineer to have a look,as the gas would have to be capped etc.as they must do loads of changes from gas to electric fires...

Sorry, I can't help you with removing the fireplace but I would think that you should be able to use your fire without your electricity without tripping the electrics. We have an electric fire and an electric oven and can use both at the same time. We can also use the lights and the microwave at the same time. The only problem we have then is that if we switch on the electric kettle, it will trip the electric. I know you input may be different to ours but if you are careful, you should be able to use your fire when you get it.
