It is 3 weeks until our site opens again, looking forward to going back that week if the weather is kind. We did our first closedown last November after being new owners for almost 2 months, so this will be our first open-up - and we can't wait. Stating to get excited now

3 days to go before we are back. I thought we would have a good rest at our daughters home but we have been stripping wallpaper at another house they have just bought. I'll be glad to get back to Pilling.

I called at van yesterday ,checked ch was working etc. ...good job as this morning woke up to snow...
must admit think the ch is the 1st thing to check before anyone even switches water on after draindown,if you have it.

We were due to go Thursday. Unfortunately it looks like we will have to delay it.

We went to our van this morning after taking our two grandsons to school. Everything was in order and the temperature inside the van was 11.5 degrees C. We will be back on Thursday to stay until 9th, May when we make the long trek home to Spain. We are both looking forward to being home again and back in the sunshine.

Hi all. I haven't posted for a long time, but we are still really enjoying our caravan. The highlight of 2017 was when 29 of our family gathered at our site for a weekend of celebrating my M in Law's 90th Birthday. Sadly, today we all attended her funeral.
My OH are booked on a Caribbean Cruise, and if this horrible snow permits, we will be flying to Miami in two days time.
Hopefully we will be returning to better weather when we get back, and can reopen our van before the end of March. I am excited that a former work colleague is buying a new caravan on our site, and our plots will be only 4 apart.
