Default Help, anyone know a Crane Company near North Oxfordshire

Hi, I am a Newbie but learning fast. have bought an older twin unit 36x20 ft. Unfortunately, the access where it was originally rolled into its site is now blocked by the house the previous owner built. There is plenty of room in front of it with private road/hard standing for a crane and lorry. Have difficulty finding a crane hire company willing to consider lifting a static caravan and the specialist removal firms are saying I have to organise it. Anyone got any suggestions. Ideally would like the whole package, splitting/dismantling, crane and transport hire and resiting and reassembly,
Thanks, Tom

Re-reading your question, it sounds as if you need someone to get the van you have purchased OUT from the original site.
If so, why is this your responsibility? Surely the seller should be arranging to get it out so that you can collect it?
I suspect that the cost of getting a crane to lift it over a house, including all the necessary insurance, will be considerably more than you would pay to buy a static from a dealer where transport collection would not be an issue.
Presumably this is to be moved to your own land, and access to it's final site is not an issue.
Why not walk away from this one (which, depending on age, may not take kindly to being moved anyway, especially by crane) and buy from a dealer who can deliver and site for you.

I would imagine that lifting a static caravan by crane will be a tricky and costly operation and need a proper cradle/ spreader as caravans do not have lifting points.
As lifting static caravans by crane is not an everyday occurrence you might struggle to find a specialist company that has the equipment to carry this out.
I agree with above, seller should make caravan available to collect by normal means and it shouldn’t fall to be your responsibility. If you’ve already paid, ask to be refunded and walk away as this will end up costing you well over any saving you’ve made on a similar caravan that’s readily available to collect.
