Default Electric bill

Our electric bill only states units used, the price of units & total cost.It does not state last reading or date taken nor does it state new reading or date taken is this legal.

Do you think that it's been mis-read Amble?

Have you a problem with your amount of units? Ours is same as Tias .
If you have a problem why not read the meter each time you stay.

So does ours.

I would keep a note of readings Amble so that you can see if your bill is roughly right - they could be charging you anything lol.

Speak to your site & they will inform when they read your meters.

Ours does give the date but our contract also states Nov 1st and April 1st ( opening and shutting of site) so perhaps yours has fixed dates. I read ours most visits to see how it is going but so far have been pleasantly suprised.

We can't actually get to our meter. It's on a post outside inside a box. Although the box can be opened(as it's only spring loaded screw fastened) it says 'only to be opened by park staff'. In this box is the trip switch for the van as well. I do know of people who open their own boxes but with electric bills around twenty quid for the season I've not had cause to question the bill.
